Elke Dieterich studied German language and literature. She gained experience in the sports department of a regional daily newspaper and, after a traineeship, worked for many years at a specialist sports magazine in Wiesbaden. She has been working as an editor for the leading industry trade magazine TextilWirtschaft (Verlagsgruppe Deutscher Fachverlag Frankfurt) for 24 years, where she currently focuses on knitwear, outerwear and plus sizes in the womenswear section as well as performance fabrics
