Knitwear is one of the products with multiple variation possibilities, linked not only to creativity in style, but to the synergy with the choice of yarns, the fineness and the wide variety of processes.
Once the theme of the reference season and the style of the collection has been identified, the first step lies in the research and choice of the yarns that best meet the needs of quality, origin and fineness of the garments to be made.
But the technological evolution of knitting machines has opened up multiple paths for stitches, textures, wefts, inlays, jacquards which require experimentation and creation to identify and develop the best result and the most interesting look. Different yarns are often mixed, alternated and intertwined to create unique and personalized effects. The yarn-machine combination requires special preparation and creativity which, thanks to a vision that can now be achieved in virtual form, will lead to the production of innovative garments.
Among the emerging techniques for the spring-summer 2025 collections there are divergent directions. The finest and lightest sweaters choose linear and precious or only slightly crinkled yarns in silk, viscose, extra-fine cotton and are worked with stitches of sophisticated transparency, in lace motifs, which enhance their refinement.

Great attention is paid to all the processes with an artisanal appearance, to be made with coarse natural yarns, mainly in organic cotton or in blends of cotton and linen. Stitches that enhance interweaving and relief.

Interventions with technical or aesthetic treatments to be applied to the knitst are increasingly interesting. On very fine, fresh and precious sheets of pure mercerized cotton the floral motifs fade thanks to the color corrosion finishing, maintaining the quality and comfort characteristics unaltered.
An extreme contrast then emerges from the “handmade” sweaters, knitted or crocheted with dense cottons, chainettes and ribbons, also perfect for accessories, handbags, shoppers, hats, cushions and anything else the imagination can inspire.
Without neglecting the most recent research into three-dimensional reliefs that will create new volumes to be molded to the body.
Knitwear is also design and there is a wide variety of jacquards that play with lively color combinations and freely combine jacquard and intarsia workmanship to make the product even more interesting.
