Whenever humanity seems condemned to heaviness, I think I should fly like Perseus into a different space. I don’t mean escaping into dreams or the irrational. I mean that I have to change my approach, look at the world from a different perspective, with a different logic and with fresh methods of cognition and verification.
Italo Calvino
An infectious and liberating lightness that moves between extravagance and normality. A journey in reverse, starting with the possibility of an icy, opalescent future and ending with a seemingly deliberate everydayness of the present, passing through liquid, imaginative universes and multi-colored pop extravaganzas. They are flashes, insights, fantastic intrusions or provocative and joyful acts, but – as Calvino suggests – different logics open up possible new routes and allow us to go beyond a seemingly indisputable heaviness.
